Policy Affirmation Required

1. I authorise NTU to collect, use and disclose my personal data for the purpose of assisting my search for employment or internship opportunities and for other purposes that are reasonably related thereto (“the Purposes”). Pursuant to my authorisation, NTU may disclose my personal data to employers, whether located in Singapore or overseas, in accordance with the terms set out by NTU for the NBS Mentoring Portal.

2. I agree that NTU is acting strictly on my behalf and will not hold NTU responsible for or liable for any consequences arising out of the disclosure of my personal data to any employer.

3. I agree that NTU may disclose my personal data to third parties, whether located within or outside Singapore, for one or more of the above Purposes. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such parties could include:

i. organisations with which NTU is collaborating with and/or whom NTU is partnering with for one or more of the Purposes; and

ii. any of NTU’s agents, contractors or third party service providers who process the personal data on NTU’s behalf

“Personal Data” shall mean data whether true or not, about an individual who can (a) be identified from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which NTU has or is likely to have access.

(2) I hereby certify that the information contained in this CV, video and any other information provided by me to the NBS Mentoring Portal are correct. I understand that my use of the NBS Mentoring Portal may be terminated at any time if any of the above information is found to be false.

(3) I give my consent for the NBS Mentoring Portal team and any receiving employer to obtain and verify information from or with any source, as you deem appropriate for the assessment of my potential employment.
